Sister sizes: what to buy when your size is sold out
Your size is sold out, or the band feels a little tight. Before you give up on a bra you love, there's a simple trick every fitter knows: the sister size.
The rule
Go down one band, go up one cup — and the cup holds the same. Go up one band, go down one cup — same again.
So 34B, 32C and 36A all have the same cup volume. Only the band changes.

When to use one
- Your band feels too loose, even on the tightest hook → the tighter-band sister (34B → 32C).
- Your band feels too tight, but the cups fit → the looser-band sister (34B → 36A).
- Your size is sold out → either sister, and check the fit when it arrives.
